Best Time To Visit
The best time to trek Hampta Pass is from mid-June and mid-October. you will witness little showers and flowers bloom. The weather remains pleasant and perfect to beat the summer heat. Rain is expected during the monsoon in the Kullu and Manali, but in Spiti, the sun shines bright. In mid-September and mid-October, during the trekking season, there is a possibility of snowfall. Temperature goes 12-18 degrees in the day and evenings start getting colder, temperature drops down from 4- (-6) degrees.
By Air: The nearest airport for Hampta Pass is the Kullu Manali Airport (Bhuntar). You can take a direct flight from Delhi and other major cities like Chandigarh and reach Bhuntar.
By Road: Manali is well connected to cities like Shimla, Dehradun, Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Chamba, Dalhousie. You will easily get a direct bus and taxis from these cities.
By Railways: Joginder Nagar railway station is the nearest railway station from Manali at a distance of 166km. Take a direct train from major cities like Delhi and reach Manali.
